Transportation Services Offers Free Motorist Assistance Services

This new service assists faculty, staff, students and their guests with air for flat tires, jump starts for dead batteries or a gallon of gas if the vehicle runs out, while on university property. A map for service boundaries is available at: http://transport.tamu.edu/parking/maps/motorassistarea.pdf. The services are available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Motorist assistance services are not available on football game days or during other special events that require officers for traffic control. These services are not available when the university is closed.  Customers needing assistance should call 845-0057 and a Parking Services Officer will be dispatched to the vehicle location. Customers will be required to sign a waiver of liability prior to receiving assistance.
